

Women's Education Rights
In many developing countries around the world, women and girls are denied the
opportunity for an education. Despite equal access to education being a human right
according to Universal Declaration of Human Rights, there are still 62 million girls who
do not attend school.
A lack of education for women consequences in developing countries to not have the opportunity for economic advancement. Futhermore, having a positive girl with a healthier future will benefit -outcomes among women worldwide. Such as recieving a chance of
- safety & health
A well educated women will make more intelligent decisions in life, (healthcare, marry at an appropriate age, have children when mature/ready)
- future employment
A well educated women will not only have higher chances of employment but will have higher chance of providing for herself and/or family. Therefore not living in an unsafe environment and participate in eliminating the cycle of poverty.
- have a voice
A well educated women will benefit by being more involved with her community and quite possibly become a leader or role model for generations to come.
It is evident that education is a highly crucial way to improve
communities worldwide who are financially underdeveloped.
Providing women of nations who do not allow them to recieve
an education a chance to fight for a brighter future, whilst
striving to eliminate their barriers will only futher develop our
generations society.
The following is a list of nations in which women are
deprived an education:
Ethiopia, Guatemala, Liberia, Malawi, India, Cambodia,
Pakistan, Nepal, Afghanastan, Chad, Papa New Guinea
and Egypt.
Why are women deprived an education?
We live in a world where men dominate most economic aspects of society. A world where men have more influence and control, meanwhile women are depicted in many countries to take on domestic roles, therefore an education is believed to not be necessary. These beliefs create many women's educations short, thus many countries having more than half the girls drop out before reaching 6th grade.
In spite of economic and cultural beliefs creating a barrier for women to recieve an education, a lack of access is also a barrier for women in developing countries. This relates to poverty! Poverty is a highly common reason to a lack of women's education in some communties, including school fees, supplies, mandatory uniform and the cost to travel with the long distance from home.
